I first started writing music in an old shed like sleepout at mums house in Christchurch. It was bright yellow with the odd window missing, mice in the roof and the whole thing was on a lean. It was ice cold, I’de be breathing steam while writing music sitting on a chair that would constantly roll down the room lol.
The Sleep out housed alot of people who brung lots of music, art and energy, It was full of life.
It was demolished after the 2011 earthquake ❤️
Heres to the weird things that inspire our art.
Enjoy 😌
